Winnquest Inn San Antonio

I went here for a small tour to see how an independent motel functioned compared to franchised. I personally think the staff is wonderful. Small staff that really keeps the property clean and safe. Great motel and really close to a bunch of shopping areas.

Stayed three nights while visiting family. Clean room at a good price. Great shower and slept well all three nights on a good bed. Staff was very accommodating. One of them even went out to move his car to make room for my car and small trailer, now who does that! Will stay again.

Great place ..the remodeling is most definitely making the rooms nicer.Andy he was very helpful and punctual with the service he gave me.

The owners are great people! They really care about their customers!

I stayed here twice. The larger than average room is VERY, VERY CLEAN and SMELLS FRESH (not covered with deodorizer), not old/smelly like most other cheaper hotels. The walls, drapes, carpet, bed, bathroom is excellent. The 2-section bathroom has beautiful large square tile floor with the shower/tub having very nice walls & shower curtain. NO COFFEE nor breakfast is the only downside. HEB store, various retail, and washeteria within a quarter-mile walk.
