Windsor Inn Hotel

An outstanding stay in every way. From the moment of arrival, everything felt smooth and professionally handled. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well arranged, creating a relaxing environment. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout the stay, always maintaining a welcoming attitude. The overall organization and quality truly reflect five-star standards.

The hotel, rooms and the furniture are very old but clean. It felt like I was in the 1950's. No lift so had to carry luggage up to 4th floor. Had road noise and no block out blinds so room got light very early and streetlights came through during the night. No safe or mini fridge in the room but could use fridge and make coffee/tea in reception area. Had only 1 small wardrobe. The hot water in bathroom and shower took 1 to 2 minutes to heat up. The wifi was good. Was 15 minute walk from Dupont Circle and U Street metro's but bus stop was a minute walk and it took you straight to the National Mall. Bond was released within 1 day.

Great location near U Street Corridor. Comfortable room. Free coffee was a nice gesture in theory but it was undrinkable in practice. And maybe I’m spoiled by Asian hotels, but would expect a mini fridge and a safe box for over 100USD per night. Overall, was a good stay and may stay there again.

I never got to stay there. I made a reservation and had a question. I called everyday for over a week. They don't answer the phone. I could not leave a message. They did not respond to emals. I contacted I contacted the company I booked with Hostel world by email because they don't accept phone calls and also reeved no answer. I canceled my reservation
