Windsor hotel

I spent 2 weeks here thinking that it was your typical lower cost trucker motel but, to my surprise it was equivalent to a Hilton. The front desk was extremely nice and welcoming they were making sure all my needs were met. The room was a bit cramped but, it had everything in peek condition. The bed was extremely comfortable (I almost overslept every morning of my stay). The atmosphere was quite especially being right next to the Turnpike. Lastly housekeeping was over the top every morning they insisted on taking my trash, giving me fresh towels, and asked to make my bed and vacuum the room. All and all I had an amazing stay and have to really give it to all the staff as they made it way better.

Tried to give it a zero star but it wouldn't let me. Our stay here was terrible - dogs barking all over, the hotel smelt bad had to wash our stuff at home 3 times to get the smell out. People outside talking loud all night couldn't get sleep even at 6:15 a.m. people was outside our room talking loud, marijuana smell in the hotel and in our room, refrigerator made a noise all night, took 10 minutes to finally get hot water in the shower. We ended up leaving after 1 night couldn't sleep there again and couldn't breathe with that smell.||Don't stay here!

The room was good, clean and comfortable. I suppose we made a booking at a wrong time, when the restaurant was unfortunately closed for renovations. It would have been good to have the option of coming back to the hotel without having to arrange for a meal from elsewhere. But otherwise, the location of the hotel, the room and everything else was quite satisfactory. Even the staff was very polite and cooperative.

HOSPITALITY IS WONDERFUL AT THE WINDSOR HOTEL. VERY FRIENDLY AND WELCOMING. THE ROOMS ARE VERY CLEAN AND MAINTAINED. MAID SERVICES IS WONDERFUL. MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS NOT BEING ABLE TO ACCESS THE BACK ENTRANCES IN OR OUT. ITS AN INCONVENIENCE FOR US DISABLED PEOPLE WHO HAVE TO WALK TO THE FRONT OF THE BUILDING JUST TO WALK OUT FRONT TO WALK TO THE BACK THEN YOU COME BACK IN AND ELEVATOR DOESNT WORK ONE ENTRANCE IN AND OUT ISNT SAFE OR CONVENIENT. ON TOP OF THAT WHO WANTS TO WALK IN AND OUT OF A BUILDING WITH PEOPLE SMOKING IN FRONT OF THE ONLY ENTRANCE. A PET FRIENDLY HOTEL IS NICE BUT NOT WHEN DOGS HAVE TO PASS EACH OTHER COMING IN OR OUT. THERE IS ONLY ONE BENCH TO SIT ON THE PROPERTY AND IS OCCUPIED BY SMOKERS.

The first time I stayed here, I was a bit worried because the carpet in the hallways had a slight odor, but it seems they have a good cleaning team because everything smelled fresh the next day. As for the room, I liked that it has a perfect desk for working, the bathroom is very clean, and overall, everything is just perfect. If I ever have any kind of issue, they are very kind and quick to solve it.
