Motel 6 East Windsor, NJ - Hightstown

For the price point, a very convenient, clean, and decent stay. We booked something last minute during a road trip and found the service friendly and efficient. We felt comfortable keeping our car parked in the lot, as the lights are kept on at night and there 24/7 camera surveillance. The rooms are basic and nothing fancy, but they served our needs.

They've just given up. Surly unhelpful staff, army surplus quality mattress and one thin pillow, only one nightstand, no dresser, no microwave, only one functional electrical outlet out of four, bedside lamp didn't work and heating unit made a noise like it was giving birth for about a minute every time it kicked on.

Glad I didn't listen to the one-star reviews. Stopped by here for one night and had a good stay: clean room (no smell), plenty of towels, friendly front desk, quiet night, plenty of cameras around and felt safe. Great value for the price. Only knocked a star because there were a couple of bugs in the room, but that's very normal and expected for a motel.

The staff are all a pleasure and the location is great. Nice and peaceful environment. I would have given the room a 5 star however I have seen a few roaches

This is a Motel 6 so I expected a very basic property. It is that but I was very impressed as the room was brand new! It appears that they've been working very hard to upgrade this location. The outer building has been freshly painted. Same for the room. Spotlessly clean in the room & the bathroom. Towels are your basic style. New refrigerator & flooring. We had a very satisfactory, economical 3 day stay. The front desk was accommodating and we were surprised as we received fresh towels daily. There is coffee in the office but don't expect breakfast. Given the cost of other local hotels this is a bargain. The only negative is that the bed only had 2 pillows. No matter. We will be back.
