Wilder & Pine Riverside Cabins

We stayed at Wilder and Pine Cabins with our entire wedding party this summer while getting married at Bridal Veil Lakes, and it was so much fun! Having everyone together in the same area made the whole weekend so memorable. The cabins themselves are adorable, super clean, and stocked with everything you could possibly need. They also have AC now which helps so much in the summer. We had plenty of space for everyone to get ready on the wedding day. After the wedding we came back with a few of our guests and had a little after party which was the perfect way to end the night. The owners were also wonderful to work with, friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Well this town as a whole was just perfect but to top it off the cabin was amazing. A hob and a coffee machine. What more can you want? There were board games to play, a hot tub with a stunning view, a cozy fire. We really loved it here. Its also a small 2 hr drive to the mountains for some snow (if there isnt any on the ground)! The shampoo etc is all vegan friendly which was such a treat. It smelt divine.

The cabin was downright dreamy... so perfect for a little getaway. Beautifully updated, all the comforts, lovingly maintained. The view was incredible, Stevenson is so charming, and the hot tub was pure heaven. I'll always remember sipping my morning coffee in the adirondack chairs, then dipping into the hot tub to watch the morning fog over the river and the steam rising up from the tub. It was JUST the little reset I needed.

The rooms and area itself are beautiful and cozy but unfortunately the train is very frequent, right outside our window and kept my family up all night. (Personally, I slept through it. But 1 out of 4 is not very good odds haha) Our room also doesn't really have a shower? It has an attachment for a shower, but the curtain only covers about half the tub and we can't figure out how to shower without splashing all over the non-tiled wall.

We enjoyed our visit. While the cabins are right on the river you have to sit on the deck to really appreciate the view. Fortunately the weather was mild for December. The property seems like it might be a work in progress. WiFi was spotty in the cabin so i had to go sit in the lounge in order to zoom with friends. Unfortunately there's no TV on the property. We watched the game at a bar. Everything worked. I soaked in the tub. There were a few misses: no sponge for the dishes, no hair dryer, no Kleenex. All in all a charming cabin on the river convenient to everything Stevenson has to offer.
