If 10 stars was an option, this would be a ten star review! Where do I begin? First, this place is lush and quiet and so enjoyable!! I have missed the green beauty of the PNW and this delivers all that and more. The birds are numerous, if you are into birding you will die! The people here are of the highest quality, the camp hosts Mike and Reneé and the owner Kyle are the most genuinely kind people we have encountered in our travels or honestly anywhere. Our truck broke down when we arrived, literally at the entrance. It was bad, so bad that the owner Kyle had to use the camp hosts truck to take our trailer to our site. Kyle had the immediate forethought to put us into a site we could stay in for longer than the two original days we were scheduled for since we were looking at having our tr

We're in Stevenson WA for 5 nights at Timberlake Campground. Beautiful 3 mile drive up the hill from Columbia river gorge. Small 42 site, back in only rv spots and tent spots. FHU, showers, restrooms, playground and large open dog area. Beautiful landscaping. Very well treed, lots of shade. Owners are nice and office receptionist's husband was kind enough to help us get our 40' 5r backed into our site. So helpful. Nice little store, firewood, picnic table and fire pit at each site. Peaceful and quiet. NOTE: if you're coming in from I 84 on the Oregon side of the river, cross at the Bridge of the Gods in Stevenson. DO NOT cross into WA at Hood river. Lanes on the bridge are only 9', very scary towing an rv across. Lots to do and see in the area. Highly recommend the Bonne

Loved the privacy of the sites and how beautiful the entire area is. Didn’t need to use them but checked out the bath/shower area and they were spotless. The dog area was so nice to be able to walk our dogs around.

Timberlake Campground and RV Park in Stevenson, Washington, is a true gem in the Columbia River Gorge. It offers that perfect mix of peaceful seclusion and easy access to nearby cities. You can be in Hood River, Oregon, in under 30 minutes, or pop over to Stevenson or Carson in minutes—so you’re never far from great food, shops, or adventure. The setting is stunning: towering evergreens, lush ferns, and that classic Pacific Northwest vibe. The grounds are beautifully maintained with level RV sites, shaded tent spots, and spotless bathrooms and showers. It’s clear the owners care deeply about keeping everything welcoming and pristine. Evenings here are pure magic—campfires under a starry sky with the cool Gorge breeze. Whether you’re exploring the Gorge or just soaking in the tranquility,

Well, I almost booked 2 nights, and I'm writing this at 4 AM sincerely glad that I only paid for one, but I frankly kind of want my money back. Considering I only got to sleep half the night, at least half my money back would be fair. All these other people complaining about this train going by in the middle of the night at other campgrounds.... This mystical train, that the only reason I even ever heard was because after Extremely Large Deisel Truck Towing A Boat/RV #4 passed me by at 3 AM. Then a train went by when I was already awake thanks to the (multiple) trucks. As of my writing this, I have had 6, count it, SIX Extremely Large Deisel Truck Towing A Boat/RV between the hours of 0230 and 0400. I could have slept in my car at a rest stop for this much noise, for free, and honestly, pr
