Customer Reviews
My partner and I camped here in a tent for 6 weeks from August until October. We had a wonderful experience. The staff are very friendly and take great care of the campground. I noticed that they sweep each campsite/RV site after someone leaves to make sure it's pristine for the next guest! The showers are very clean and free (huge bonus!) and the water stays hot. The on-site laundry is convenient and the washers/dryers are large. The location is idyllic and in close proximity to Portland and Old Orchard Beach. Being an adult-only campsite, it was very relaxed and everyone was polite and considerate of others, especially during nighttime hours. I don't have a single complaint. We were so comfortable living here for such a long time and we would happily stay again!
This is a small campground in a nice area. The sites are small and are sand and dirt. No patios grass or gravel. The lady at check in is very nice and has a lot of local knowledge. She is also the groundskeeper and possibly the maintenance person as well. That is a hard working woman! Her, her dog, sand and dirt will be our memory of this place.
Great park! Good location, pet friendly, clean facilites and helpful staff make this little oasis a must stay. We enjoyed our week at the campground. We plan to return. Keep up the good work.
First of all, this is a great central location close to much of the southern Maine Coast; drivable to Ogunquit, Kennybunkport, Saco, Old Orchard, Freeport, and Portland. A Maine Eastern Trail cycling/walking entrance is a short bike ride down the road. The Eastern Trail is still broken up into disconnected segments, but you can traverse regular roads to make the connections. There is a beautiful marsh area right down the road with a lovely walking path. The campground itself is decent, in a grove of giant lovely pine trees. But the desireability of the individual sites varies so carefully peruse the site map. The pull through sites in the middle are ok, but the exterior circle is much nicer. The front sites are brighter with nicer views than the back sites. In general the sites are smal
Campground owners are so friendly. The sites were clean, some where more spacious than others. Location beautifully situated on the Marsh. Definitely very quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this Campground!
