Black Point Inn

Our stay at Black Point Inn was absolutely wonderful. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and taken care of. The inn itself is full of charm and history, with stunning views that make it the perfect coastal getaway. Our room was clean, comfortable, and had all the little touches that made it feel special. Dining on the terrace was a highlight—the food was fresh, beautifully presented, and delicious. Between the gorgeous setting, warm hospitality, and relaxing atmosphere, I can’t recommend Black Point Inn enough. Perfect enough that we have returned three years in a row!

Our first time staying here and it will not be our last! We had a beautiful room with breathtaking views of the ocean and beach, a very comfy bed and every amenity needed. We took the footpath to a very quiet, pretty beach and also enjoyed the pool area and adironack chairs in front of the hotel. We then enjoyed a great dinner that evening in the restaurant. In fact, we had 3 meals in the restaurant while staying there, and all were very good. Our service was friendly and prompt. Staff were all very nice and it was clear that they wanted to make your stay the best it could be. We plan a Maine trip every year and will definitely include this hotel in our itinerary going forward.

As locals my wife and I stop in for a cocktail on occasion during the summer and early fall. We were in two weeks ago. We ordered two vodkas with soda water, with a slice of lemon and a "whisper" (tablespoon) of cranberry. First issue the bartender gave us tequila. I went back the the bar and she promptly replaced them with our original order. She said I thought you ordered tequila?? Now the fun part!! Second issue, when we got the bill we were charged $13 each (3 vodkas 39$ and 1 wine 16$) 4 drinks. So I asked how much the vodka and sodas were they said $10 so I said you overcharged me $9. The bartender went on to say there is a $3 up charge for the cranberry juice. Which, by the way, anyone that goes into any local restaurant/bar knows that this is ridiculous! It's just like stealing. We were at the bar and were lucky to be served by a wonderful lady Amy in black. She is always amazing — warm, professional, and so attentive to every detail. Her smile and kindness made us feel so welcome, and her service was flawless. She carried herself with such elegance, and her presence truly elevated our experience. A beautiful person inside and out — thank you for making our evening special! 🌹🍷

We loved everything about this inn. When last in Scarborough some 20 plus years ago, we ogled it while on the now closed-eroded cliff walk. Staying there was a grand treat from start to finish and I hope we go back.|Our room looked over the bay, boats, Pine Point and Old Orchard Beach, and faced west for glorious sunsets. It was large, clean, comfortable, had great water pressure in the sink and shower, plenty of dresser and closet space, and we loved it.|We ate all our meals there. I recommend you get the breakfast included option. Our breakfasts were fantastic. They made our egg dishes exactly as requested, the french toast with lots of yogurt and fruit on the side was plentiful, the blueberry pancake portion huge, and the coffee strong enough even for me.|From the Inn you can take a
