Extended Stay America Suites- Portland - Scarborough

I have been here for Three weeks the staff has been very informative to any questions I have since I am relatively new to the area and then moving here so planned on staying here for a month and a half to 2 months to get to know the area and find a place. Again front desk is very informative. The rooms are always clean. The breezeways and walkways are always clean. Smells good. Laundry room is clean. Very good value amazing for people that are travel nurses et cetera. My wife did that this is a perfect set up for that for a family relocating anything like that a good value as a kitchen so you can cook and again I’m the staff is amazing. I give the hotel of five out of five cleans 5 out of five and the staff 5 out of five.

My husband and I spent Christmas and New Year's at this hotel, and we definitely would NOT recommend it to anyone!!! The following are the reasons why:||1. No Phone Service in Room||2. No Guide on T.V.||3. Out of Toilet Paper for 24 Hours||4. Cigarette Butts Everywhere Around the Entire Building's Entry Points||5. Continual Strong Odor of Marijuana in Our Hallway and on Elevator||6. Canine Fecal Matter on Hallway Carpet||7. Owners w/Dogs Did Not Clean Up After Dogs Out Front||8. Trash Piled Outside of Trash Door in Hallway for 2 Days on Our Floor||9. Toilet Leaked / Tub Would Not Drain||10. The Front Desk Always Vacant - Really Long Wait Times For Help||11. The Walkways and Parking Lot Were NEVER Salted. However, Management's Parking Space was Salted. On our last morning at t

Positive: Staff were nice, it was quiet, and the location was nice Negative: Room was shabby and worn out. Bedside lamps didn’t work. Front desk had a video monitor with bold print stating “recording in progress”and there was reserved parking for police, which made it seem sketchy. But I didn’t notice any questionable activity,

We stayed in room 210, and the room was great for the price. Even though there was renovation work being done, you wouldn’t have been able to tell with how clean the hotel was. The lady who checked us in on the night of the 15th was very kind, sweet, personable, and professional. I forgot her name, but she was a sweetheart. The checkout process was smooth as always. Patty and Lori are the best! They always go above and beyond to make sure the guest are always satisfied. No matter what day it is, the guest always comes first. The whole team there is amazing, and the way they work together is what makes the experience so great. The staff was extremely helpful and pleasant. They offered coupons to the near by Texas Roadhouse. The hotel had recently been updated. There was a new shower that was in very good condition and they offered a nice 50in LG TV with an interactive menu. There is a Walmart conveniently located a few minutes away. I would definitely recommend to others.
