Wiebe Motel

We have used this hotel for the last few years while working in the area. Tried to check in at the desk and they tried to say their nightly rate was $150/night with taxes (when the internet sites show it’s $70/night). This roach infested hotel is not worth $70/night let alone $150. When confronted about the price, they kicked us out and locked the door. The beds are soiled dirty (we would bring our own bedding). The towels are the size of wash clothes (we had to bring our own towels). The room is dirty in general. The owners (who live in the motel smoke weed outside the motel regularly) try to bait and switch whenever they can. Do not recommend.

Positive: I was able to park my nice vehicle directly in front of my room and keep the blinds open all night in fear of it getting stolen. Negative: Run down with individuals hanging out in front of the rooms. Very concerning and wish I had packed my gun. Bed was extremely stiff with no nightstands. Patched up walls and doors. Bath towels the size of rough wash rags. Basically no toiletries.

It depends on what you are looking for and if the price is budget enough. The room itself was clean, and the management was kind and brought me extra pillows and helped me with the TV remote, they also let me check out at 11am, which seems like it should be that anyway but apparently it's 10am. My guess is that they get alot of workers staying there, but when the other motels are full such as my case they probably get people that are slightly disappointed by the lack of furnishing in the rooms, the raggedy towels, and the spongy pillows. The bed is a memory foam mattress on a wood box frame. Some people might like memory foam, I would havepreffered a normal mattress but I was more concerned about how it appeared well soiled. Horrible customer service, check out time was slated for 11:00am but wanted to force us out at 10. An hour earlier for no apparent reason than just because they wanted us gone. Rooms are very minimalistic with close to no furniture. Very rude when checking out, curious as to why the condescending or rude attitude. Don’t recommend if you want to at least have a decent customer service experience.

Friendly, but lacks furnishings, and the towels were in very bad condition. The room itself seemed clean, but the bed was quite soiled memory foam and the pillows are cheap and spongy. It's the cheapest motel in town but I would still expect more for the price. It has a nice tile bathroom and decent linoleum, but it seriously looks like they ran out of money to furnish the rooms. There are no lamps (just the bright overhead light), no desk under the TV, and no nightstands. If they actually furnished the rooms and replaced the beds, pillows, and towels - then it would actually be a much more comfortable place to stay and worth more stars.
