This is the wintering spot. You at least get some direct sunlight up here. Sometimes can be windy too. The RR track is great for kids to learn and build confidence.

Overall a great place to ride. Problem is, you get all these guys thinking that they're going to impress other Riders and campers buy racing up and down the roads that have signs stating 15 and 25 miles an hour. They make it dangerous for the little kids. The Park Rangers are too busy to catch them all. There needs to be "self policing" by the responsible riders/campers. I'm old so it doesn't bother me to flag them down to bring the signs and their reckless behavior to their attention. Lots of riding trails both advanced and easy. Maps available and trails are clearly marked. Don't know where you can go for 5 dollars to have this much fun. They are also doing a lot of renovations to improve the comfort of the park.

I LOVE HOLLISTER HILLS. I'm so lucky to have this Beautiful State Park in my backyard. I find enjoyment and peace when I camp here, especially this time of year. Everything green and growing.

Hollister Hills at least we have a place to ride. Today was first weekend of red sticker. They tried to do some work to the little motocross track on the side of the Hill and actually made the track worse instead of better they chunked it up in a couple of spots and then didn't water the track at all. It's better to leave it hard blue Groove then have it chunky and then not water it. And then on Friday October 4th I spent the day there as well as the night at Radio Ridge. The small oval track they have for the kids was completely unwatered and Dusty. You would think that for the first weekend of red sticker season they would have taken some time and really prepped a few of the tracks. I have to say it was quite disappointing their lack of input and prep for the first weekend of red sticker
