SureStay by Best Western Hollister

It was a decent stay for one night. Everything went smoothly. We also had free breakfast in the morning, although options were very limited but better than nothing. So, our room was clean but upon packing our stuff up to leave we spotted 2 cockroaches which is why we gave cleanliness a 1. But overall, good enough.

Stayed at the BW SureStay Hollister for the second time in a year. The first time was in early summer and the “trades” had the place full. The room we got was OK but the shower area had much ceiling damage with paint bubbles what appeared to be mold growing. We saw that there were materials around the building that made us think that a remodel was going on so we didn’t post a review. This visit the place was empty but we were given the exact same room. No changes to room condition so I’m posting this review. Seems that maintenance is behind here and there may be better options in the area.

Positive: Bed was comfy and room was spacious. Negative: The whole building smelt like cigarettes which my wife and I didn?t enjoy. Lots of noise from the parking lot all night from other guests hanging out in the parking lot. The staff was very slow with service and didn?t seem very happy to help.

Very comfortable, remodeled room. Free breakfast. Great value for the price!

Very clean, comfortable and large rooms. Quiet. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would stay here again!
