White Sandy Campground - U.S. Bureau of Land Management

Good little campground. No hook ups for campers so you'll need a generator or really get close with nature. They have decent trees for shade and campfire pits at every site. The beach leaves one wishing for actual sand instead of gravel but it serves the purpose if you spend your time in the water or on it. Both require water shoes, this area isn't very barefoot friendly. Dogs are welcome so long as they're leashed. Great paved road to bike around and great fishing! Our group caught a rainbow trout!

A very special place that is reached by a challenging path. The place is in an excellent place, close to a beautiful water lake with a large space and a beautiful view. Next to the parking lot there is a small beach and places to play and rest. In the parking areas there is a tent to eat in front of the view. In the parking lot itself there is no connection to water, sewage and electricity, but it is possible to do so near the entrance in the designated position. Toilets have no drains, but are generally kept clean.

Beautiful views of the Missouri River and Prickly Pear Creek (close to the Hauser Dam) great for fishing, boating, swimming and enjoying nature. Sites are clean and a short distance to the boat ramp.

Quiet, spacious campground outside of Helena, complete with small beach, fish cleaning station, and clean pit bathrooms. Very limited internet, which can be a plus for sure. Overlooks the water and moutains in the distance. $20 a night.

Host was super helpful, he even brought me some firewood. Campground clean and well maintained. What a great place to take my new camper on a maiden voyage. Thanks White Sandy!
