Good for a one night stop while you’re travelling, but wouldn’t stay here for an extended time. The transient sites are level and gravel and easy to pull in and out. Full hookups worked well and the wifi was excellent! ||The laundry facilities were very good - there were about 6 washers and 4 dryers as a couple units weren’t working. We really needed to do laundry before our next stop so it was great that the machines worked well and were reasonably priced. I read a review saying the dryers didn’t work well but ours dried towels and everything else without a problem (we used the two farthest from the pinball machine). The front desk had lots of quarters available too. ||I was disappointed that there were no recycling facilities. The garbage bins were full of bottles, cans, cardboard
This is a fabulous Journey KOA. I think this is the nicest one we have stayed at. Everything is immaculate. A very important amenity is a dog run area. They have 2! Plus the laundry was less expensive than others. Greatly appreciated!
We stayed here twice, on our way out to the west and then heading back to the east. An obvious choice because it's conveniently located off the interstate. If you're worried about the interstate noise, I would buy earplugs or headphones for your trips, something to mute or cancel out the noise. Most of the time you will hear interstate noise from campgrounds like this, so invest in ear protection because there will always be noise from planes, trains, and/or automobiles. This campground is all gravel, so if you don't like dust, don't come here. Landscaping is a minimum, but for us, it wasn't a concern. All we needed was a place to stay overnight with a pull through site and full hookups. Sites weren't super close to each other. I mean, how much room do you need? This campground met our n
Awesome campground for a bit of urban camping close to Helena. Very clean and well maintained. Big rig friendly. Clean bathrooms and laundry room. Close to the interstate but not close enough that traffic noise is an issue. Dog friendly.
Nice KOA park. All utilities worked as they should. We had a medical emergency while here and the managers worked hard to accommodate us as we unexpectedly had to extend our stay. Wonderful. The dog park is very nice and well kept. The recreation area was manicured and very attractive with shade sails. We've been in many KOAs and this one is tops. Great facility, great staff. Thanks for a great experience. 👍
