Best Western Premier Helena Great Northern Hotel

A very nice hotel close to the airport. The free shuttle to and from the hotel is a plus. The lobby is clean and inviting. The staff was fantastic. My room was ready and clean. My only issue was with some of the utilities. ALL the electric outlets in the room need to be replaced as none of my plugs would stay inserted. Luckily I had an adapter with me that I could physically spread the plug tines out a bit to get it to stay inserted. The other issue was the hot water in the sink- very limited to non existent. These are minor inconveniences. The breakfast was outstanding and coffee is available early. The restaurant attached to the lobby was also very good- good service and food. Over all a solid 4. Would definitely stay again.

Wonderful stay in Helena! We enjoyed our stay for one night. Very clean and cozy. Breakfast plenty of options and was very fresh. Extremely easy check-in and check-out process. Really convenient via text message to upload check-in information so all we had to do was go to the check-in desk and pick up the room key. Free parking and easily walkable to Brewhouse Pub and Grille for dinner. Resturant connected to the restaurant, Star Steak and Grille, has great drinks.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. My husband and I and 2 small dogs stayed in one of their pet friendly rooms. It was spacious but more importantly VERY CLEAN. And beds were amazingly comfortable! The hotel is situated in a lovely area with a variety of restaurants, a movie theater and even an ice cream shop with an indoor carousel, all within walking distance. A gem of a place! Staff were very friendly and accommodating.

There is another determining point that lowered the overall rating. It was the price. I too thought the room would be $151 however, when I received my receipt it was $170 plus taxes. Not cool and it meant I was paying a bit more. If everything else wasn't so good, I may have lowered the rating a bit more. Great people, great room, especially the accessable room.
