When Pigs Fly Inn

I had a wonderful stay at When Pigs Fly. I stayed in the Blue Room, which was spacious, beautifully decorated, and incredibly comfortable. The king-size bed and blackout curtains made for an excellent night’s sleep, and I really appreciated how well stocked the coffee, tea, and snacks were. The location couldn’t be more convenient—just a short walk or drive to shops and restaurants. Communication from the owner, Jeff, was excellent throughout my stay, making everything smooth and enjoyable. I highly recommend When Pigs Fly and will definitely stay here again.

This little inn was a fantastic place to stay. Jeff, Linda (owners), and Evie (cat) were gracious and kind hosts. Instructions were provided for arrival, stay, and checkout. Snacks, coffee, tea, and water were stocked and ready at any time during the stay. Each room has it's own en suite with several areas in the house to gather together as a small group. We got lucky and it was just us and our friends this weekend, so we kept our room doors open and it made it feel even more like home. Jeff and Linda are attentive but not intrusive and Evie made the inn feel like a home. I don't have to repeat what everybody else has said in these reviews. Everything about When Pigs Fly it's just nice; from the well-appointed rooms to the coffee center, the hosts Jeff and Linda and even the cat. Don't miss this place and stay an extra night or two for Little Washington. It's a happening place. Also, Jeff's recommendation of Sheps was outstanding. Check times and days open before going.

We really enjoyed this inn, mostly due to the location. Washington is a lovely little town with lots of great restaurants and cute little shops and this place is within walking distance. They don't have breakfast, but there are breakfast restaurants nearby that are really good. They do provide coffee, tea, water and snacks but we had to ask for those to be replenished. The rooms were lovely and there is a lot of interesting art and collectibles. We also enjoyed petting Miss Evelyn the cat who lives there. Lol.

We had a lovely stay in the Blue Room. I really appreciated how private and well appointed the room was. One of the highlights was the well stocked coffee and tea station right outside the hall. Making a cup of tea and relaxing in the evening quickly became our way to unwind after a day exploring the area. The hosts are gracious, helpful and only know the area well. We had walked into the nearby restaurants and waterfront. Even got to enjoy a great firework display just 200 yards from the Inn. If you are thinking of staying in the Waahington area make it special and stay here.
