Westerner Motel

The room was big and had and refrigerator and great shower pressure after a long day of work. The owners are kind and will try to accommodate any request and even do laundry for you, which is great when you are traveling and don't have the daylights hours to do it yourself. The owner even helped make accommodations in a different city just to help me out. It is not the Hilton, but the price is more than reasonable and the owners are compassionate fair people that are a willing to help when they can. Get place for a person who is in construction, railroad, lineman, or trade skill and the company is not footing the bill and you have to pay for your own expenses. Thank you very much!

The staff is awesome and very understanding. Rooms are great with a full size fridge and microwave. Fresh towels and room cleaning every day. Update: best hotel you can stay at if you want genuine caring staff and management. Go to the motel 6 or the others if you like. But you will not find the service and friendlyness you will find at the Westerner Motel.

We were affected by storm. Displaced and came to this place. We were trying to pay for another night. The manager, wouldn't let me & my family pay for another couple of nights. She said if we wasn't out by 11am, she would have our stuff thrown out!!! I just walked out! It was a better way to communicate to your customers. Customer service at its worst!

Close to the plants in BR and the people who own it are friendly and take care of it. Very clean.

Bring extra cushions to sleep on cause the mattresses sure aren't new...very hard and uncomfortable! My hips felt like they were broke the next morning. I "had" to stay there cause everything else was full due to several turnarounds going on in the area. I will definitely get in town earlier next time and pay a little extra for something a lot nicer. For the travelers paying the weekly rate, you better hope you get laid off at the end of the week you paid for cause they aren't going to pro rate anything, even if your only 2 nights into the week you paid for. My room didn't even have a table or a chair...your bed is your table and chair. Like they say, "you get what you pay for". Oh and make sure you pull the sheets back and look cause evidently someone forgot to put fresh ones on in my roo
