Holiday Inn Express & Suites Baton Rouge -Port Allen by IHG

First and foremost my room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was pretty standard, although I'm disappointed that they did not have any sausage gravy to go with the biscuits that they offered. But more importantly, the staff has been absolutely amazing. Due to work-related issues I have been stuck here for more than a week. And unfortunately, I have had to nightly renew my stay for the next day because there was no certainty as to how long I would actually be here. Management, and everyone else has been completely helpful. I have even had to have stuff delivered to the hotel and they were kind enough to put it on a cart for me so that I could bring it up to my room. This location continues to be one of my favorite places to stay when I have to pass through this area. Thank y

We were a mother and young daughter traveling for a doctor's appointment and got stuck in Baton Rouge due to weather. We stopped under the awning and after a while decided to see if this Holiday Inn had a room! We walked in and was immediately impressed with what we seen. It was super clean and tidy. They did have a room. Once checked in we were provided with the things we were not prepared with! That was super. Things like a toothbrush, toothpaste, etc. The shampoo, conditioner, lotion selection was excellent! Then, once ready for bed... the beds were AWESOME!! The next morning, well rested from our comfy beds, we had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had at a hotel! Thank you for not being a disappointment in a very stressful time.

Positive: IT WAS VERY CLEAN...EVERYTHING WAS CLEAN FLOOR ,ELEVATORS, POOL, HALL WAYS, COUNTERS, ETC.... Negative: Not enough parking, it fills up fast because it's a great hotel....not really a complaint though...

Nice hotel, the staff did not know how to use the computer, how to give us a receipt. They told my husband it was because we booked our hotel stay via third party. I never use third parties to book our stay. The woman who worked at the hotel brought 8 kids to swim there all three days we were there. The work out room was nice. I asked for more coffee at the buffet and the guy went to check to see if the pot was really empty after I told him it was empty. The rooms were clean and good location for the hotel. It is located around an hour from the Angola rodeo. The pool is inside so if the weather is bad you can still use it. There are wheelchair accessible rooms on the ground floor.

Got in late on Friday night. Front desk guy was not rude but not attentive. Literally stood in front of him for 5 mins before he stopped typing and asked our last name. Got to our room on the 3rd floor and hit instantly with a smell of mildew. Assumed it was because the air was high so we turned it down and hoped for the best. The shower curtain had stains all over the inside. Clumps of hair in the shower. Leaving out of the bathroom next to the light switch looked to be like blood or dirt splatter. Had a wash cloth to turn one and off the light switch. Luckily I bring antibacterial wipes with me and had to clean the entire room before I let my kids touch anything. Once we finally laid down for bed, the sheets were damp. Left for the LSU game the next day so it had all day to settle. Came
