We are full time RVers from the Baton Rouge area. Whenever we are in the area, we stay at Cajun Country RV Park in Port Allen, LA. Our stays are for various lengths and different times of the year. The park is always well maintained and has an inviting appearance. The staff is friendly and helpful; from owner Dickie, his son Austin, Jennifer and others. This is a worker park with several transient sites. The park has two sections - the older, front section with hard packed sites and full hook-ups. The newer, back section has concrete pads and full hook-ups. Most sites have a picnic table. There is a laundry, bathhouse, playground and pavillon on site. If you want some exercise, there is a concrete walking path around a pond. There is also a large, grassy area. We always enjoy staying at Ca

I was visiting friends who stay here as their home base. It is a great no frills campground, but it is quiet and clean. There are 6 washers and dryers available. You can get quarters from the office. The owners are amazing. Very nice and accommodating. There are a lot of workers here, so the camp is pretty empty during the day. There are what look like permanent campers, but they all look great with plants making it look homey. Port Allen has an amazing must-see museum, and Baton Rouge is just across the river. Definitely will come back if in the area.

we stayed here for a handful of months a few months ago. this park is absolutely amazing. the office lady is so sweet & kind. it’s affordable, clean, safe, & so peaceful. i sat outside nearly everyday & never felt unsafe or bothered. the lots are level, spacious, & clean. the shower house & laundry room could definitely use some work but we just went to a laundromat in baton rouge which worked better for us. highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a safe place in baton rouge!

Would 100 percent recommend this camp ground for anything from a 1 night stay to a living residence, I personally have lived there for the past 3 years and it has been amazing the owners are some of the kindest people you’ll ever meet always willing to help. Along with the camp ground is in a very safe area I have never had a single thing stolen or bothered. Along with the other guest at the camp ground are always kind and have helped me in a pinch I have never had a bad experience. Laundry Matt’s are clean and washer and dryers are always available and maintained and kept up well. Camper spots are a very affordable price for a young guy like me to be able to grow in his career and save money and this camp ground being so close to Baton Rouge has opened up so many job opportunities. Wonderful, clean, quiet, not to mention the owners are great people. Friendly courteous and always there when you need. We used the wash room and it was clean and everything works great!. My husband and I stayed there a lot!. He was working at Exxon- Dow and Syngenta plants. The location was great for all three places. A really peaceful place to stay!!! I highly recommend this RV PARK.
