West Winds Motel & Cottages

This is such a great vacation spot. Very clean, everyone is extremely friendly. They provide chairs on your patio, a HUGE firepit WITH firewood provided!!! They have an ample amount of comfortable chairs to go around the whole firepit. There is also a large screened gabebo with table and chairs, lights and a ceiling fan. We were a party of 16 and we had such an awesome time we already booked for next year when we checked out. We stayed in the motel units. They have cottages and some larger houses to rent also. The view is so pretty…beautiful sunrise and sunsets. They also have a place to sit just before going down to the dock. All steps - not stoned area to walk down. You will not be disappointed with this place and very reasonably priced!!!!

We had an amazing long weekend at West Winds! The most stunning views you can imagine, everything is beautifully manicured, clean and the service was amazing. It was so peaceful and gorgeous I checked dates for our next trip up before leaving. Awesome location to bring friends and family, your boat and just enjoy the water at an incredible site. Owners do a fantastic job with everything, can't wait to be back again!

I went on a fishing vacation with my best friend and landed on the West Winds Motel & Cottages page. It had everything we wanted including separate rooms, full kitchen, and boat storage/charging options. Initial communications with Jolene were quick and thorough. We arrived and check in was a breeze. We met Jolene and Dean H and they gave us the lay of the land. The whole property was well maintained and you can tell was kept up with a strong sense of pride. Our cottage was PERFECT! Super clean and everything we expected. I can't speak to the many amenities on site as we were pretty tired from fishing all day so it was right to bed. Each dawn and dusk we were greeted with a jaw dropping sunrise and sunset that we won't soon forget. We can't wait to come back next year. We found our "place"

Me and my boyfriend and I stayed for one night and it was great! The cottage was clean and fully stocked like a house. It was a perfect little getaway, and we were able to walk down to the water. It was a great last-minute stay, and we will be returning to try out the pool!

Amazing place with incredible views. We spend the weekend at the river cottage and the place was so clean and well kept. The docks are great for fishing and the view is priceless. Will definitely be back here.
