1000 Islands Harbor Hotel

We just spent the night here in the Commodore suite for our 14 year anniversary and it was amazing! We had 2 balconies with a view of the beautiful St. Lawrence River! They offer coffee, tea, and hot chocolate every morning on each floor, and even a turndown service with chocolates! Everyone at the front desk were very nice and professional! This was our first time here, but would love to come back in the summer!

This is a hotel that earned four diamond awards every year for their hospitality, amenities and grounds. I visited on Labor Day weekend and I absolutely loved it. The riverview rooms offer scenic views of the beautifully manicured lawn meeting the St. Lawrence River. The hotel has only four floors so it offers a more personable and exclusive experience. I really wish I had more time there. I didn't get to swim in their heated pool or soak in the hot tub. A lot of weddings are booked there because of the grounds and service. The hotel rooms are more spacious than I was expecting. Even the chain hotel brands' suites aren't as roomy. The bed mattress is very comfortable. That is a huge plus for me. Booked a Queen Room with view had a view, A very nice hotel, I was greeted promptly and check in was a breeze! The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and the linens were plush. Just a heads up , these are definitely not queen beds. I have slept on a queen mattress for the last 25 yrs and I knew right away that the two beds in room 313 were not queens. After retrieving a tape measure I can confirm the two beds measure 54 inches wide × 75 inches long. This measurement is common for a full size bed. My wife and I are tall people and definitely I am not on the slim side so the sleep was disappointing. In my opinion this room should be advertised as a Full Room with view not a Queen room with a view.

I would love to give this hotel five stars but my experience in the restaurant/bar area put a huge damper on the weekend. While my group was trying to enjoy dinner, a man walked in from the pool area. He wore only a towel wrapped around his waist exposing his prodigious belly and unsightly tattoos. He was very loud and kept the bartender occupied for approximately 15-20 minutes. Other hotel and restaurant guests were gaping and visibly uncomfortable with his attire and demeanor. Most eating establishments require that their customers wear a shirt and shoes. Hopefully, in the future your establishment will post and enforce a dress code for pool users who chose to go to the bar/restaurant.
