We had a good stay here; the sites are long and level(we have a 32ft TT); It's a nice clean park; laundry was good and nice gift shop; check in was quick and easy and best of all it's about a 1/2 from the west entrance to Glacier Natl Park. There is a train nearby but but not an issue; also they have a nice paved path..maybe and 1/8th of a mile long that takes you right to the village..you can get a little food maybe a souvenir or other supplies...and there is gas there as well. Only small "complaint" is our site was right next to their "work shed" so there were trucks and gators coming and going...but we really weren't there much so not a huge deal. We actually liked it because there AREN'T any planned activities; just a relaxing place to stay. Good experience and would highly recommend
West Glacier RV Park is an absolute winner! From the moment we pulled in, it was clear this place is clean and incredibly well-kept. The utility hookups were perfect—no wrestling with power or water, which is always a pleasant surprise after a day of driving. This site also has the best wifi that I've ever encountered in Montana. I was getting 75mb up and down. The staff was super friendly and helpful, which just adds to the relaxed Glacier vibe. And for anyone worried about the wilderness neighbors, let me just say: these folks take security seriously. Every trash dumpster is brilliantly bear-proofed! It seems a bear's biggest nightly workout is trying to defeat that cleverly designed latch—our dinner scraps were perfectly safe. The bathrooms and showers were also pretty well maintain
Just because you book and pay for a premium spot. Does not mean you will get it. I paid for the premium spot and was stuffed into thier so called 70ft spot which in reality is only 60ft. Then Who ever emailed me from this scamming place thought it was wise to insult me by telling me I got the site I paid for. I know what I booked and know what I paid for lady. As she stated she would email me my invoice to prove other wise. Which she never did.... Dont hook up to the sewer other than to dump. It will stink up your unit something fierce! Nice park though. Just rude staff and the fact you won't get what you paid for.... Unless you pay even more to lock in your spot....
Brand-new cabins, nice queen bed, fresh appliances, decent shower, and a good location near the park entrance… but then came the surprises. Hidden in the fine print was a ‘heritage fee.’ Sounds quaint, right? Except it’s 3% of the total—about $25 for us—tacked on at the very end. Why wasn’t this included in the upfront estimate? Add that to the $400+ nightly rate and suddenly your stay edges toward $1,000 for just a couple nights. At that price, we would’ve (and should’ve) stayed in Whitefish, only 30 minutes away. And here’s the kicker: this was Labor Day weekend, yet most cabins sat empty. Now I see why. Other issues: the hide-a-bed was unsleepable (collapsed in the middle, worn out), the floors left our feet black, the Wi-Fi was nearly unusable, and “daily housekeeping” meant only a
Large, spacious sites. Grass between sites is very nice. Well laid out, very clean. Excellent bathrooms/shower houses. 5 minutes from park entrance, even shorter walk, bike ride into West Glacier. In my opinion, there is no better place to stay to explore Glacier.
