Glacier Guides Lodge

What a gem! Our room was clean and comfy, the location is perfect for quick entrance to West Glacier NP, and our host, Brian was extremely friendly and helpful. He answered all our recommendations questions and was spot on with information that ensured we had the perfect week in Glacier. We loved our backyard patio, the upstairs game room, and delicious breakfast. Highly recommended this adorable lodge. We can’t wait to come back!

We had an awesome time at Glacier, and loved staying at Glacier Guides Lodge. First, they were able to accomodate an early morning check-in when we got off our Amtrak train (it's a five minute walk up the hill from the station). The building is beautifully built - obviously new and modern, but designed and built with a wilderness aesthetic and real craftmanship, fitting of the wooded surroundings. We regret we didn't have more time to enjoy the cozy lounge, we were so busy hiking every day! The delicious breakfast burritos were a fantastic start to each day.

We loved staying at the Lodge, which couldn't be more conveniently located to the park. The room was clean and the beds comfy--I slept really well! And breakfast was fine. It's a very sweet, lovely place to stay!

Glacier Lodge was so close to the west entry to Glacier National Park.The lodge itself was spotless. The beds were super comfortable. |Easy parking. The breakfast each morning was delicious. I loved the muffins, my husband loved the egg buritos. Excellent coffee. I strongly recommend this place. Book early. It is hard to get rooms.

Having recently spent four nights at Glacier Guides Lodge, I'll say that we were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. Previous reviewers were right: The location is great, and the rooms/amenities are surely a much better value than what you will find at any of the Xanterra places in the park. One really special feature is the upstairs reading room—it’s a beautiful place to relax and read after a busy day.||The bottom line is that we would definitely want to stay at Glacier Guides Lodge on any future visit to the national park.
