West Cape Motel is a hidden gem in Cape May. Spotlessly clean rooms, relaxing pool and super friendly-family-owned business. Perfect location near the beach and bird sanctuary, all at a great value.

Loved the choice of pillows! Beds very comfortable . Plenty of parking space. Efficiency well supplied. Large room and bathroom and great shower. The room appears to be recently updated. Housekeeping excellent, friendly and responsive when we needed extra kitchen towels. Loved the mineral pool and proximity to town and beach. Management friendly and responsive when we had a problem with the tv which was user error. Will definitely return.

Beware! Had reservations for 3 nites in July but because of my mother being in hospital totaling 9 weeks I Had to cancel as she was supposed to go with. Cancelled 2 weeks ahead and not the 3 required but figured they would understand…nope. No refund, partial refund or even credit for future visit. Take insurance out (if applicable ) lol cause god forbid you need cancel! Will look elsewhere next year 100%

On the outside it is not a fancy place. The rooms are surprising. Clean..efficient and comfortable. The owner is friendly and accommodating. They were kind enough to let us stay a couple of extra days after their season. The beds were comfortable and location was perfect for the parade.

I was very pleasantly surprised by how nice the rooms are. Everything is clean and new. My room had a queen bed, mini-fridge, coffee maker, microwave, television, and a small bathroom with toiletries. The pool is nice as well, but it does close early. Definitely rent a bicycle if you stay here, as the location is a bit far from town and beaches. Cape May is best explored by bike, anyway! The sounds of nature nearby are incredible. Do bring earplugs, as the hotel walls are quite thin.
