I stayed here dec3 thru Jan 10 my birthday. I cleaned my room even bought a broom washed the walls nasty. Kitchen sink leaked bathtub stopped up wouldn't drain backed up while showering filled half way before showered fast. bathroom sink brand new leaked underneath no mirror anywhere in room. No remote to tv tub amywhere. I paid over 2100 for this room again its bad time if year went thru expedian for discount ha ha....they stolw my stuff I went thru and pa ked it all there. The celery was sentimental but to steal my stain glass cutting tools im extremely upset 😡. He never at desk charges uoy if you lock y po ur key i. Your room its a 1.00 every time. The room was clean,the lady Paulette who checked us in was polite and helpful. She's usually the day personal along with Brenda the acting manager. Meet kay the head house keeper who is nice. I must of ask them plenty of questions and they didn't get upset at all. I don't know all the staff so I can't comment on them. But I assume the other staff maybe nice also. I seen a lot of negative comments on other sites on them but I haven't seen anything that they are talking about. I have no negativity about this Hazelwood welcome suites. Never believe bad reviews check it out for yourself.

I checked into this hotel 10/18/2025 at around 9:30-10pm. It cost me $191.68 total. $91.68 for one night in the room, and $100 for a deposit. I am an aviation mechanic, and I do a lot of contracting work so I stay at various hotels. This by far was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The room was very unclean. I found stains on the bed, hair on the bed, sheets, pillows, etc. The floors hadn’t been swept or mopped, the walls were dingey and damaged, the toilet didn’t flush, and there was hair in the shower. I went to take a shower first thing when I got into the room, and as I got out to grab a towel to dry off, I saw live roaches on the towel in the bathroom. I left my room (207) with all my belongings and immediately called the front desk. I said I wanted to cancel my reservat

I have been staying here for a few months now. It was very unpleasant in the beginning! Once they changed management and staff, this has been a great place to stay. The rooms are tended to better now! The place smells nice. The new GM, Brenda is well needed around here. She is very pleasant yet about her business. She runs a great ship! Paulette and Cassandra are the best front desk workers ever! They both bring comfort and peace to the premises! Kay does an excellent job keeping the place looking and smelling good!!
