Welcome Inn

Needed a room last minute for 1 night and almost everything was booked or crazy expensive. Booked through the Mackinaw Chamber of Tourism because the price was much more reasonable and reviews were okay.||||The room was definitely a dated, but was clean, comfortable and priced right. Carpet looked newer, rooms was a good size, location was excellent, and bathroom served its purpose. Would definitely consider staying again if the need arises.

Soo the motel is definitely old; BUT you could smell the cleaner so you knew it was cleaned, bed linens were clean, properly made and 4 nice pillows per each queen bed (we had a double queen room). The room is cute, bathroom could use updating but it also was clean, screen was ripped in the window but the A/C worked great so that didn’t matter. Husband was whining that the tv wasn’t big enough lol but that was his only complaint. Fridge is clean and functioning, microwave the same as well as the coffee maker. You receive an email with your room number, door lock number and wifi password-I’m not sure where i would go if i needed someone lol-so I’m hoping i won’t have to find out. Now only a VROB. A clean, comfortable bed in a great location and that is all. Very much need of electrical updates and a thorough cleaning. Updates are in progress, nice knotty pine on the walls. AC vents filled with dust, moldy shower curtain liner. Communication poor between host if you app is misbehaving

I got some lovely bedbugs to take home with me after this stay. I can handle any kind of dirty hotel, I’ll manage, but I’ve never gotten bedbugs from anywhere else in my life. Would not ever recommend.

There is no one in the office. You have to call a number on the office door to book a room and they drive up you book and they leave. Or you can go across the street to aoreillys to book s room. THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN MY FIRST CLUE. They said it was a queen size bed,it was not it was a double. There were spiders in the corner of the ceiling.. They are making attempts for improvements as in New Towels and bedspread. The paint is peeling off of the wood railings as they put us in the house across the parking lot. Upstairs is renting out. They vacuumed at 10 o'clock at night. Then the occupants talked until 2;15 in the morning. At intervals that would pound on their floor which was our ceiling so that kept us awake. Then when they were talked out they turned the TV on loud enough w
