American Boutique Inn Lakeview

A cute little place that has an outdoor heated pool. Room entry keys are old school adding to the nostalgia of staying up north. Rooms are clean. Only real complaints are the bathroom is kind of small and the mattress was rather hard. Location is nice in that you can easily walk across to the park to view the bridge which is great for the sun rise or sun set, and still walk-able to and from downtown.

We spent a night here after returning from the island. The motel is very clean as are the rooms. The pool area is nice and well kept. There is plenty of parking. If returning to the area I would definitely stay here again. It’s a nice short walk down to the bridge.

Positive: The location and the front desk staff. He was great, very helpful and friendly Negative: No facial tissues, we told the front desk but the cleaning staff never brought us any. Also I had inadvertently left my pjs on the bed, when we got back to the room, we noticed they made the bed over my pjs. Curig coffee maker was not working properly

If you enjoy staying in a smaller, non-chain hotel, this is the place for you. Two stories (no elevator) and a small parking lot makes getting to and from your room easy. It is in a walkable neighborhood and near a few beach access pocket parks. A view of the Mackinac Bridge is a two minute walk from the hotel. Yes, the rooms are somewhat dated, but overall functionality and cleanliness was not an issue. The desk person was friendly. We booked the room for our outbound trip and decided to rebook for our inbound trip. The price is right.

I had a fantastic stay here over the weekend! The rooms were immaculately clean and extremely well-maintained — honestly, one of the cleanest hotel stays I've had in a while. The bathrooms were spotless and felt fresh, which really made a big difference in comfort. On top of that, the staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to accommodate any request with a smile. You can tell they genuinely care about guest experience. The location was also excellent — conveniently situated to explore Mackinaw City and nearby attractions. If you're planning a visit to Mackinaw City, I highly recommend staying here. The level of cleanliness, hospitality, and overall experience really stood out!
