Awesome mountain. One of the best lifts I've been on. Grooming questionable but everything else is great. Weather is in the white mountains so it's variable. Love the place though! more challenging than I thought it was going to be!
Waterville Valley is one of my favorite ski areas in NH. It’s a real class act. I hope they remain a holdout and don’t sell out to Vail or some other big conglomerate. Their independent nature is one of the most charming aspects. And I love that they teamed up with Indypass! What a fantastic partnership. The grooming is wonderful here, and I love how I can ski to my car at the end of a long day. I love the varied terrain. I can get all the steeps I want and the cruisers are fun too. The lifts are adequate, though weekends can get a little congested. The lodge is nice with the multi floors. Food is good. Restrooms are fairly easy to access. The ticket line can get long in the AM. I do wish they’d open more ticket windows. Apart from that, it’s all love for WV Mtn!
Great skiing resort with a more modern experience. The trails are nice and the bubble lift is a bonus. The lodge looks newer than competing resorts' and the summit view is nice.
The local park crew guys were hyped to have us show up with 50 shred kids from all over the world on opening weekend. We sessioned the early season park and had a blast. The rain from the night before had things feeling pretty firm, but the shapers did a great job. They cranked some music for us and were suuuuper hospitable. The park here has had an exceptional reputation in the freestyle world for good reason. I’d recommend people come here and meet the friendly locals and shred the friendly features.
It's unfortunate that we haven't had much snow, yet the skiing is not all that bad. The lodge is not very clean . Food under tables and ground into the rugs, picnic tables are dirty. Garbage out by the ski racks on the ground. They do have the nicest lift attendants.
