Silver Fox Inn

A great location beside the conference center. Some staff are more helpful than others. We were first given a basement room (that you can also have pets) but we might have rated the hotel with a 3 from there. When we requested a different room they gave us one on the third floor (not sure why they did not give that to us right away?) and that was nicer; with a pleasant lobby area just outside the room. A very nice complimentary breakfast in the morning.

Positive: The hotel is comfortable, convenient and has multiple choices for breakfast options. Negative: The door needed to be forced to latch (rm 128). Also, the dining room opened late on Sunday, thankfully my event started later in Sunday than it had on Saturday.

Stayed here for 3 nights with a tour group. This property is an old Best Western Hotel and it doesn’t appear to have had many improvements since the new name change. It is a convenient location if you are there to ski. If not, it is very inconveniently located 10 miles off I-93. The rooms are nothing more than a standard motel room. The bathroom is extremely small with an old style shower curtain versus new glass doors. The towels are very low quality as are the bathroom amenities. The soap bar is literally like a Catholic host. The rug had worn areas and the walls need a good new paint job. There are no refrigerators in the rooms; merely a community fridge on the 3rd floor. The only ice machine is on the 1st floor. This place was very much like a lodge . Great location if you are there to ski or hike. Rooms were clean and they put 4 pillow on your bed . Just wish they had refrigerators in the rooms . Great common areas and their breakfast is fantastic .

Amazing food & service. This is our new favorites for their steak night on the weekends, but their burgers are fantastic, too. Michelle is a lot of fun at the bar! We'll be back routinely!
