Water’s Edge Camp

I stayed as a guest in the retreat center for a work conference with 35 coworkers. The rooms were quiet, clean, comfortably stocked with basic items. We spent most of our time in the main room, which was an attractive space. The gym and outdoors were available for our enjoyment. The cook for the weekend did a stunning job! The food was wonderful and portions were generous. It was a very nice weekend, would highly recommend.

My kid LOVES coming to camp here every summer. He always comes home talking about his adventures, his new friends, and all the fun he had. The camp leadership is wonderful and the volunteers make the experience so meaningful and fun for the kids. Huge thanks to everyone who makes the magic of camp possible at Water’s Edge!

Reading reviews from a while to what my child said she experienced seems that they are letting the place go. My child said dodging bats in the gymnasium after dark was an absolutely terrifying experience. Based on how upset she was starting with that the prison mattresses to the disgusting showers. I honestly trust her as she usually just goes with the flow of things, I’d highly not recommend.

No more internet at the Dickey Cottage. We paid - had a contract - and they removed the internet without notifying us. Shoddy business. The lack of internet was NOT the real issue for the one star, it was our treatment as we tried to find out what happened. We had been coming here for over 20 years and we were treated like trash. Horrible management who tried to gaslight my friends and I... "We NEVER had internet." Lying directly to our face. Simply terrible people. Stated "we weren't their priority anymore". And these people are supposedly people of the church! We were treated abhorrently.

Lots of fun and family activities to do evening services are great foods good great people around can't wait to go back to Summer. I love that our ladies retreat can be here where we love to spend our summer together and our winter too
