Hampton Inn & Suites Howell

From the moment you walk in you can feel the warm energy of this place. The front desk staff was always super friendly and knowledgeable. The rooms were one of the cleanest I've been to in along time. Higher quality toiletries and super clean bathroom. Bed was a bit firm for my comfort, but I prefer a medium/soft bed. Very accommodating and the all the staff were on their game. You will not regret staying here!

Positive: The breakfast was hot and had a variety of options Negative: Room had a funny odor which no amount of spray could get rid of. Sink was clogged which they took care of. There was stomping all day from floor above.

Newer hotel, nice place. Couldn't hear any highway traffic. Pool was warm, not too big. Lobby has good atmosphere. Rooms were clean. Worked for our purposes. The breakfast had a good variety, and the snacks were reasonably priced.

My son and I stayed here with our team for a basketball tournament. After spending time at the hospital due to his injury, we walked into the hotel and our team was excited to see him and cheered for him briefly in the lobby. An employee who said her name was Charlotte approached us and mentioned quiet hours, which I completely understood and respected. One of the parents apologized and said they were just celebrating because of my son returning after an injury. Her response was really rude. However, there were three different groups in the lobby at the time and she only returned to address our group, and the way she spoke to us was extremely rude and unprofessional. We took our 5 year old for his birthday to swim in the pool with it being cold outside. The pool was filled with kids 10-12. There was no where to set our stuff down so I set it on the edge of room on the ground. No big deal. they kept splashing him and jumping in around him. He kept swallowing water and I was afraid he’d soon throw up, so that didn’t go great. The kids had water toys and instead of spraying each other they shot it at our towels and the ceiling (where their parents weren’t sitting). Kids are playing and the pool is small. I’m not too bent out of shape about that but it definitely set a tone for our visit. We were on the 3rd floor with what I have to imagine was a large group of unsupervised teens. Again, I’m not trying to be a stick in the mud so I let them run the hall, t
