Kensington Inn

Awful experience. An employee, Bill, is insisting they need IDs on file for the children staying in the room. Bill tried charging me a higher rate than I was quoted, refused service to us, and refused to provide any information for a manager or the owner. I spoke to a lovely man yesterday - unfortunately didn’t catch his name - and everything was terrific. So Bill specifically seems to be the issue here and I cannot believe he has a job after the way we were treated. Go literally anywhere else.

DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! me and my coworker lived here and my boyfriend drove just for 2 nights they knocked the next morning and||threatened to call the police if we didn't have our stuff out within 10 minutes and told us that it was in the rules which he never showed us!!!!remind you we were technically living there he tried to up charge us 100 dollars because of it another time he threatened my roommate while i was at work and told her she needs to pack all our stuff out because our paychecks didn't arrive by 12 pm even tho they were coming the night of our room was filled with bed bugs and I constantly woke up with new bites every morning

The manager was unnecessarily rude and unprofessional. The rooms reeked of cigarette smoke. The towels were tiny. The beds were so uncomfortable that I barely slept and I woke up in pain! I wouldn't stay here again no matter how cheap the room was! Some additional information to know before paying for a room at the Kensington Inn. Michigan Department of Corrections houses parolees at this establishment. They are housed in an area away from the rooms that are available for paying guests. Also, they are non-violent, low risk offenders. They do not house people with convictions for criminal sexual conduct with minors or adults, nor do they house parolees with violent criminal convictions. The room was great. Super peaceful. Super quiet. Great priced. Clean. I will definitely be back again. Both times I've stayed have been great experiences
