I attended the Make A Wish Foundation fundraiser at the Washington Hilton about a week ago. The atmosphere in the ballroom was beautiful, the food was delicious and a lot of money was raised for a good cause. I attend many corporate banquets for various reasons. The bar service almost all of the time is mediocre, basic drinks served in various glasses. I must comment on one bartender Patrick who went above and beyond what I normally expect. He was friendly, engaging and truly a professional. He enjoyed preparing great drinks down to actually squeezing the fruit added to the drink. I appreciated his efforts. His special drink is a delicious Old Fashioned. You had the option of regular or smoked. He peeled the orange rind, added the skewered Luxardo cherries, mixed the drink, patiently smok
I recently stayed at Hilton Washington DC and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and perfectly located for exploring the city. One of the highlights of my stay was Chef Daniel. He was absolutely wonderful—so warm and welcoming—and truly went above and beyond to make our experience special. He also took the time to personally recommend some great local restaurants in the area, which turned out to be amazing choices. Thanks to the attentive staff and Chef Daniel’s thoughtful hospitality, my stay was memorable and I would happily return. Highly recommend!
So we (middle schoolers and 2 advisors) traveled to this hotel from california for the lead conference. When we first got there, the service was good and we got our rooms at an appropriate time. Although, when we got up to our rooms there was only one bed and we needed 2 beds for 3 of the rooms. It was already late enough, but we had to wait until 1am to get the rollaway bed which was also terrible. That wasn’t our biggest problem because I could tell the worker tried his best to deliver all the beds, but they should have more than one person working on that. Next problem, the cafe (with the starbucks). The workers at there were extremely rude and had terrible manners. While they were working on drinks, I could tell there were no masks and one of them was coughing, so that was unsanitary.
Excellent hotel with even better staff. The customer service was superb. Parking easy and spacious. Nice room and bed. The lobby store is well stocked with a variety of options. Overall a very pleasant overnight stay.
I had a very pleasant stay at the Hilton Washington. The bed is very comfortable with high-quality bedding, which made for a great night’s sleep. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The gym is spacious and well equipped; although some of the equipment is a bit outdated, it still works well and gets the job done. Overall, a very nice hotel and I would definitely stay here again.
