Waldorf Astoria Chicago

We had such a wonderful stay this past weekend celebrating our daughter’s birthday! The room was absolutely beautiful - clean, comfortable, and felt really special for the occasion. Our daughter especially loved the pool and spent most of her time there having the best time. The hotel also surprised her with a small birthday cake, which was a thoughtful touch and truly made her feel celebrated. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and made her birthday even more memorable. We would definitely love to return!

From the moment we arrived into the court yard you can feel the magic. When we checked in we were greeted by Fernando who was extremely helpful. And helped us get into an amazing upgrade for our anniversary! When we got there Logan had arranged for a bottle to be waiting for us on ice. Which we loved so much. We had dinner at brass tack, the meat was cooked to perfection and the staff came and made sure we were having the best time possible. We had a corner suite so the views were spectacular. And of course shout out to the valet team who was very attentive when requesting our vehicle. Shout out to Oscar, Jorge, Johnathan, Francisco , and Morgan. The valet pm team was so helpful

Positive: The hotel was in a great location and the property was nice, but not as good as other hotels/resorts I have stayed at, especially for the price. Negative: The staff was friendly, but not the most welcoming compared to other hotels I have stayed in prior to this one. Also, the room was nice, but nothing special for the price.

I have stayed at my fair share of hotels, especially Hiltons, and I have to say the Chicago Waldorf is unquestionably one of my favorite properties (if not my absolute favorite). My wife and I have stayed here a few times over the past few months and we haven't wanted to stay elsewhere since. There is a familial energy with the way the staff treats you. They provide luxury services without coming across as pretentious or robotic. We have loved our interactions with everyone. The rooms are clean, quiet, and spacious. If you can, get a room with a fireplace. It really helps make your stay feel like home away from home. The food and drinks are fantastic. We stayed at Waldorf Astoria Chicago for a staycation to celebrate my husband’s birthday and had such a wonderful experience. The front desk staff was absolutely amazing and even surprised us with a room upgrade, which made the stay feel extra special. Our room was beautiful with gorgeous views, and everything felt clean, comfortable, and luxurious. We also had breakfast at the hotel restaurant and it was delicious. The location is perfect — right in the Gold Coast with so many great restaurants and shops nearby. We couldn’t have picked a better place to celebrate. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.
