Village Inn

We stayed at this beautiful hotel. It’s NOT cheap. It feels like a resort. Beautiful yard, pool area, nice hot tub but….. there’s no hot water available to make a tea or a ramen noodle soup (for those who checks in late in the evening). There’s no microwaves in the rooms, only refrigerators and coffee machines. When we asked where can we warm up the food, we were told “sorry, there’s no microwaves for public use” 🤦🏼‍♀️. We’ve stayed in many hotels and if there’s no microwave in a room, there’s always one in the lobby for guests to use. The worst thing is the lawn worker started mowing the lawn at around 8:30-9 am , seriously?? Pretty frustrating. Otherwise, this place is absolutely beautiful and clean. Definitely gives you resort vibes.

I stayed at Village Inn on August 29 2025 and checked out the next day. After checkout the hotel charged my card 250 without notice or consent, claiming damage from minor ink marks caused by my toddler. These marks were small and removable, yet I was billed a replacement level fee. The manager did not respond to my follow up emails. Guests should be aware of hidden and unfair post checkout charges.

Had the best trip and accommodations! The staff was amazing and attentive to each detail. Thank you Jason, Koko, Vanessa and Laura. I must mention the food at Dave’s Place, incredibly good! We will be back!

My wife and I chose The Village Inn in Vandenberg Village, CA, for a relaxing overnight stay to celebrate our 19th anniversary, and it turned out to be the perfect little hidden hideaway! The friendly staff made us feel right at home right from the start—they were accommodating and let us check in early without any hassle. The suite was a great size, spacious and comfortable, with that perfect blend of mid-century retro charm and modern touches that the hotel is known for. There's an attached restaurant (Dave's Place), which was super convenient for grabbing meals without having to go far—ideal for a low-key anniversary getaway. We're just 5 minutes from downtown Lompoc for any errands or extra exploration, and only about 15 minutes from Surf Beach (a fantastic spot to watch rocket launc

We stayed here while visiting family. I was very pleased with our stay. The staff was very efficient and welcoming. They gave us a goody bag, (which my son was very excited about). The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and spacious. It was a little too windy for us to enjoy the pool area, but on a nice day it would be pretty awesome. My buddy Dave J, did an awesome job with the restaurant and bar too!
