Villa Park Motel

It was convenient but the rooms needed more care. Bugs, mold, dust, etc... I didn't use the fridge because of it. The door wasn't fully shut. The furniture was dated with holes and stains. The walls had holes and some sockets wouldn't work. I don't suggest families. However, the AC was nice. Those units seemed new. Parking was free. There is a $30 cash deposit that you will get back. It's near a lot of shops.

The major complaint here is that they destroyed the best part of this motel: their a/c units were in the BACK wall, preventing anyone from smoking out your room. Unconscionably, they were moved to the front where anyone smoking below or sides will be polluting YOUR room with their smoke! The walls are paper thin, nobody tells the kind of peoplet they rent to to BE QUIET, do NOT be loud to bother other guests, they are allowed to PARTY OUTSIDE your room at all hours of the night and let their kids run around screaming. There is no security. For all the "no party" signs in the lobby, nobody is patrolling to make sure you LET YOUR GUESTS SLEEP AT NIGHT! They also removed all the furniture that made it worthwhile. Now it's just a run down motel with broken windows. The only good thing is that

Didn't stay. Weekly rate was $800. Some other places are about $475 a week. I laughed when the window guy quoted me that, and walked away. Should've read the reviews, and just a note to the management/owners of this establishment: just because y'all slapped up some pretty lights, installed a cheap fountain (very bad job... Extension cord out the night window slot? Really?), and threw some paint up, it does not make the place any more "must visit!"... Crazy, must of lost their minds...

Very small room, but seems safe. The prices on the weekend in California would get me a very nice hotel in Oklahoma. I'm just looking for a place to shower and sleep. I'm really here on business, as in my son is in ICU.

The staff is so nice. The room feels like home. We have been here going on 2 weeks now. Its quite no loud people. They always have a smile when you go to the office. I would recommend this place. Wish we could stay longer.
