Great service and clean rooms, but the hostel is a bit old

I was at Chapman for graduation and Sky Palm was a good, close location. Riding by I wasn't sure, but I heard from one of the other fathers who had been there so I gave it a try. Clean, great service, location is so close, and the diner next door was good. Thank you.

This place is terrible. To be specific with the main office. My friend and I checked in there and the lady at the main guest said specifically no visitors. There was no warning on the site where we booked this motel. We tried getting a refund, but she said that wasn’t possible. We had friends in town and had already asked if they could meet us there ASAP so we can go out for the night. As our 2 other friends were helping us move our stuff in the motel room (we were 2nd floor, stairs only- a lot to carry) the lady went up to us as we were in my car and asked us why we had 2 ppl more ppl staying at the room we were at. Beware!!! I booked through Agoda. Upon arrival I was asked for my credit card. I got charged a 2nd time directly by the motel. I have been trying to get my refund over the last few months. This included stopping by 3 days in a row. They keep promising that they are working on it. Credit Card Scam!!! Update. After filing a police report the hotel was contacted by OPD. The hotel management contacted me and sent me a check refunding the amount owed after over 7 months since the time it happened
