Victorian Motel

This was my first time in Cape May and we couldn't have had a better experience. The rooms were clean, well taken care of and just the perfect location. Wanda is amazing and I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Its a must for Cape May!

My husband and I stayed on Thanksgiving weekend. It was our first visit but won't be our last. The location right across the street from Congress Hall and the Washington Square shops is perfect. We did not need to use our car for the two days we were there. We had a suite that included stovetop, microwave and small fridge. Room was very clean and modern. The staff were very nice and very helpful. It was even better than expected. Highly recommend!

This hotel is spotlessly clean and is situated in the heart of shops and restaurants, and for strolling beautiful Cape May. We had a third-floor efficiency room which included a kitchenette with pots/pans/dishes etc. and a coffee maker and toaster. Climate control, linens, and bedding all very nice. The bathroom included make up remover pads, lotions, soaps, and a hair dryer. In the shower are refilled dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and bath gel. There is a safe large enough for my laptop, and an iron and ironing board. ||The office staff are helpful and friendly, but be aware, that you will be regaled with their considerable list of rules both upon booking by phone and again upon check-in. For over 50 years, my family has cherished Cape May, and The Victorian Hotel has been our consistent "go-to" for its perfect location and charming, family-friendly feel. My husband and I even chose the town's old gazebo for our wedding in 1997 and have returned almost every year since on our anniversary weekend. This year, however, was sadly different, and a single weekend with the current staff has permanently ruined this hotel for us.|Our issues began while booking for Oktoberfest weekend.
