Value Inn & Suites Salina

Booked online answered questions of children's age yet it booked 1 queen room when it showed 2 queen room on Priceline. The guy upon check in switched us to an upgraded room no extra charge. Very friendly staff the room was clean! We did not see any bugs or have any complaints! Id stay here again!

This was a mixture of OK-and-awful that seemed to fit right in with the cash-advance signs and the bail bondsman's office nearby. My wife and I stayed in one room and her friend in another. The hotel was ostensibly 100-percent smoke-free, but the hallway and two of the three rooms we saw smelled heavily of nicotine. Our room was free of it, and was reasonably clean, but there was a lot wrong. In our room and at least one of the others the smoke alarm had been removed from the fixture, and the rear fire door stuck badly; I had to throw my shoulder into it to leave that way. Half the fixtures--lights and bathroom fan--were burned out or just broken, and our toilet was a triple-flusher. A flat-screen TV had been mounted over the faded-out, different-colored square where the mirror once hung.

Absolutely disgusting! We tried to stay here on September 26, and it was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. As soon as we walked into the room, there were roaches and crickets in every corner and even a bug on the pillow. The place was filthy and clearly not being maintained. We immediately left. Do yourself a favor and stay ANYWHERE else.

I would probably give it 4 out of 5 if the wife wasn't such a disrespectful woman. She's argumentative and doesn't ever want to find a solution to a problem, just wants to repeat the problem.. make it make sense.

⭐☆☆☆☆ The Value Inn makes you question all your life choices. Sticky floors, thin walls, a bed made for regrets, and a TV that only knows disappointment. They even give you free bugs as pets. Between this and the Travelers Lodge, I’d keep driving.
