Truly stunning decor and a very fun atmosphere! We really enjoyed all of the bars, the game room, the sauna and even bowling! There is so much to do on property. All employees were so nice and welcoming. The only thing I am really disappointed about is my room layout. I was under the impression that my tub and the deck were private. Unfortunately my hot tub was right infront of the window of the room next to us and they always had their window open, we didn’t feel comfortable enough to go in it right in front of their window. This should be better advertised because it’s listed as private and this was really disappointing to us. But thank you for a great stay otherwise.
We stayed in the Chalet and the space was wonderful! Spacious and very clean! What wasn’t pleasant was that the lodge and accommodations were over run by kids…. Whose parents sat at the bar enjoying themselves while their kids took over the bowling allies and pool tables. We booked this trip expecting that we would be able to enjoy these amenities. Not a chance! We spent $1,200 for our 2 night stay and weren’t able to enjoy any of the accommodations!
Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely return. The property is beautiful, and the accommodations are clean, charming, and reminiscent of a country ranch. We were welcomed right away with a complimentary drink—bourbon or champagne—which set a lovely tone. The drinks were fantastic and fairly priced. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the rooms were quiet and cozy, complete with heated floors and a bathtub. It truly felt like a private, countryside inn. My only critique is the food at the restaurant. It was pedestrian at best. We ordered a hanger steak for $50, and it was served dangerously raw, cold, and undercooked. We had to send it back. At breakfast, the hash brown patty tasted like it came straight from a supermarket freezer, and my sister’s Mexican egg bowl was
We stayed in the 5 bedroom slide mountain house. There were three Bedrooms upstairs with bathrooms in them - each had two queen beds in them. Downstairs there was two king rooms with one bathroom outside. We were welcomed in the lodge with a choice of bourbon or champagne at the bar. The bartender was not very friendly but all other staff were. We ordered at the bar because to sit in the dining room we had to have a pre set menu with the chef with 7 people (above 6 this must be done). The bar has an extremely small menu which consists of a cheese board, a salad, & a burger (the only substantial item). My sister asked the bartender out of the 4 items on the bar menu what he recommended and he said “I don’t know what I recommend, I don’t know you or what you like!” Lol - We had the burgers w
The property itself is absolutely beautiful and sets a warm, inviting tone the moment you arrive. The rustic lodge décor, live music, and fireplace created a truly cozy, almost magical atmosphere. It felt like the kind of place you want to linger, relax, and soak it all in. I’d been wanting to check this place out and though I didn’t get the chance to reserve for the night, I DID at least check it out for the atmosphere and food! Haha The service was exceptional. Staff were attentive, kind, and genuinely welcoming throughout the evening, which made a big difference in the overall experience. Unfortunately, the food fell flat. We ordered a seafood dish in a red sauce and the pork chops, along with a cabbage salad appetizer, and everything was very bland and lacking depth of flavor. As tru
