Full Moon Resort

My husband and I got married here in November 2025 and it was the most amazing experience! The staff is attentive, proactive, and kind- special shout outs to Stephanie, Nikki, Morgan, Kayla, and Janet for their seamless coordination! Our guests who stayed on site loved the thoughtfully updated and decorated rooms, and the variety of lodgings helped us to ensure that all of our guests were able to get the ideal location, budget, and amenities for their needs. With the most amazing grounds for hikes, and welcoming porches to sit out with your coffee and listen to the sound of the Esopus Creek- it is truly idyllic. Whether you're looking for a wedding venue or a weekend getaway, Full Moon Resort is absolutely the place to be! We will be back :)

Our event was the annual dinner for the Big Indian - Oliverea (Volunteer) Fire Company. We had about 60 or so guests on a wild, windy, snowy night. But we were all very comfy and cozy in the big barn. We saw the wind WHIPPING the snow past the windows! The staff was extremely friendly, prompt and attentive to our needs. The buffet was terrific with PLENTY of steak, chicken and pasta. Each pan was quickly refreshed when it got a bit low. - nobody had to wait. The bar was well stocked. Vegetables, bread, salad and desserts were plentiful and good. Just right for our group of neighbors. Ample coffee. Everyone lingered quite awhile after dinner, visiting as neighbors will. I particularly appreciated that the dessert table got cleared away a bit prematurely, but I asked the staff if

Wow. This place is absolutely amazing. Stunning views !!!!The entire staff really gave 200% to ensure that all guests had an enjoyable stay. Went for an event for the Catskill 3500 Club Winter Weekend! Food was fantastic for the catered event as well as breakfast in their cafe! An unexpected special treat was to be entertained by the band Aquarius Friday night, and Tom Pretty’s Saturday night! They were incredible on stage as both musicians and entertainers. We will Definitely return to The Full Moon Resort as there more peaks to hike. Highly recommend this place. Had an amazing time staying there and am excited to return.

We just got back from a long weekend at their Winter Wonderland Hotel and we had the best time. What a find!! We skied at the nearby Belleayre Mountain (only about a 13 min drive) and our stay at this resort exceeded our expectations, especially for the low cost per. night! The room was very cool and rustic and clean. The food was fantastic and big portions. Also we noticed the staff was extremely friendly. We used the hot tub and it was amazing. We also used the pool table and movie room! We'll be back!

We will start by saying we had the very best wedding weekend! We absolutely love Full Moon Resort and would not hesitate to do it all over again. The staff at FMR is incredible. They helped to set everything up and were available and helpful all weekend long. They managed everything and worked with us every step of the way. The venue is beautiful and it is wonderful to have full access throughout the weekend. We received many compliments on the wedding food, most saying it was the most delicious and biggest piece of steak they ever had at a wedding. We also received many compliments on the raw bar, particularly the lobster salad. Lodging was by far the trickiest challenge. It ended up working out for the most part. Many guests also stayed offsite at Catskills Seasons Inn which helped. We
