Starlite Motel

My friend and I stayed while up skiing and snowboarding. Very nice motel to stay at. Location was great! Nice and close to mountain and restaurants. Very satisfied!

Returning to the Starlite Motel felt like coming home. Years ago, I stayed here with my partner and our dog and it left such a warm memory that I hoped the magic would still be here and it absolutely was. My suite was perfect, a fully equipped kitchen, a full bathroom, and every comfort you could want. The backyard is stunning, with picnic tables, grills, and Adirondack chairs, perfect for relaxing. Great WiFi, incredible hot water, and amazing water pressure make everything effortless. The owner’s kindness and care shine through in every detail, it’s clear this is more than just a motel, it’s a labor of love. On my first solo trip, I felt the same welcome and comfort I felt with my family by my side. Starlite Motel will forever be my stay of choice when I’m in Upstate NY.

The Starlite appears to be a one-person or mom & pop kind of place. It's pretty obvious that it's run on a shoestring budget. Considering that, they do a good job of keeping the place clean and comfortable. We were attending an event in the area, so it was very convenient to where we were. ||The room was fine. Chilly when we got in, but the thermostat works so not problem there. Nice comfy memory foam mattress. There's a kitchen that we didn't use so I can't really speak to it. It appears clean and functional. The kitchen has a door that opens to a courtyard/picnic area. It's probably very nice in the summer, but it was too cold and rainy to spend any time out there.||The only noise we heard was a dog barking. It appeared to be coming from the office, so probably the owner's dog. We didn't

The location was just perfect! And since we were skiing at Belleayre. The kitchen was very helpful and definitely a value for money. It was not fancy but comfortable and clean!

Amazing motel with beautiful scenery. 5 minutes away from Belleayre mountain. Perfect spot to spend the night if you ski or snowboard. Rooms were clean and kitchen area was great.
