University Inn

Very clean nice hotel. Pinky was the best, feel like I made a new friend, they are all so nice & treat you like family. The shuttle service was wonderful & quick. Definitely staying at this hotel again!

Our son was having Open Heart Surgery at Duke and the University Inn was a great plus for me, an 85 year old woman traveling alone. I have stayed in quite few nice hotels but this one was definitely the cleanest one ever, the personnel were helpful and the shuttle service was terrific. Location was perfect (although I admit to getting a bit lost walking to the hospital a time or 2). There were assorted snacks and microwaveable choices in the lobby as well as delicious muffins and free coffee and tea.This would also be an ideal choice for a home away from home for a longer visit medical visit.

It is a great hotel. Very Clean. They helped me bring in my bag cause I have limited mobility and they helped bring my bag to my car when I left. All staff were very nice and polite. The shuttle to Duke was the best part, not having to worry about parking in the parking garage and just being dropped off and picked up, I only waited a few minutes. It was quiet and the value is fantastic for what you get specifically the shuttle.

Accidentally double-booked the room. Was told by reception that it could be cancelled. But after trying numerous times the hotel refused to accept the cancellation.The hotel is depressing. Its only merit is that it's close to the Duke campus. The rooms smell, and sound isolation is poor. You can hear your neighbors.

It is wonderful place to stay...within walking distance of Duke University Hospital. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are super, super clean. Beds were comfortable and linens were clean. Will definitely stay there again.
