I've stayed in capsule hotels in Japan, so I knew what to expect, but this place exceeded my expectations.||They use an app called Goki which serves as your room key for the front door and your bedroom, which made check-in a breeze. But there is also someone at the front desk if you need assistance.||The beds (capsules) were clean and comfortable. I stayed in the male dorm. Each capsule has a usb and usb type-c plug so you can charge while you sleep. You also have overhear lights in white and blue to choose from, plus a reading light. And a shade pulls down for privacy.||Showers are downstairs. Very clean, great water pressure. Bathrooms on each floor have Japanese style bidets (my favorite!).||There is also a full service coffee shop inside - great drinks at great prices. Lots of seatin

Love the idea of the capsule hotel and enjoy having privacy. However the capsule only had an underpowered USB port and no powerpoint which made charging very frustrating and long endeavour. Hostel close to alot of food and bars, cvs across the road and subway around the corner too. Made Life very easy.Check in process was annoying, as the trip.com app doesn't take state tax I had an oustandign balance on arrival which means I couldn't do a self check-in so I had to wait 4 hours out the front of the building with my bags for the 6pm check in time slot as they run 10am to 1pm and 6pm to 10pm checkin. Each floor had a toilet and shower located in the basement seemed fine no major cleansing issues.

An outstanding stay in every way. From the moment of arrival, everything felt smooth and professionally handled. The room was spotless, comfortable, and well arranged, creating a relaxing environment. The staff was attentive and helpful throughout the stay, always maintaining a welcoming attitude. The overall organization and quality truly reflect five-star standards.

I come tomDC once or twice a year and usually stay in a hostel. This was my first time at the U Street Capsule Hostel. I found them on Tick Tock and the Hostel App The bed were very comfy and a whole vibe they have a very futuristic space ship feel very roomy and very comfortable the LED light may be a bit much for some but relaxing and Zen for others. What i didn’t like is the broken elevator and I had to walk up the stairs to the third floor!!! Not cool that the showers were on the lower level which means yeah imagine that not cool again. The coffee shop on sit was great small discount if u stay if corse the location was excellent and staff was very friendly and apologized right away for the broken elevator. But I told her that I was gonna take points away sorry guys.

I'll preface this review by saying that I'm a young solo traveller looking to meet people and have fun. If you're looking for somewhere to stay for a few nights in a great location then this hostel is great. You have easy access to public transport and U street itself is charming and has great nightlife - which is why I was surprised that it wasn't a very social hostel. The majority of people I met were there for work. The shower facilities are great, with great water pressure and heat. The quieter atmosphere can be nice if you're looking to relax. My room had a balcony which was a nice surprise. I didn't use the cafe facilities but it seems like a nice bonus, especially for those looking to get some work done. As for the capsules themselves, I was initially impressed until I realised a
