Tupper Lake Motel

My husband and I are avid snowmobilers and absolutely love the trails in the Tupper Lake area. We’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times now, and it has truly become our affordable go‑to winter getaway. The in‑and‑out horseshoe‑style parking lot has plenty of space for multiple snowmobile trailers, which makes unloading and maneuvering so much easier. From this location, you can ride directly out to the local trail with only minimal street riding for a few blocks, or you can trailer over to nearby snowmobile parking lots—our preferred option. Another huge convenience is the location—directly across the street from the local grocery store with a deli, perfect for grabbing meals, snacks, or last‑minute supplies. This is an old style motel that has been very well maintained, the owner and son work hard to keep it that way. Room was basic and had what I needed including a coffee pot. The section I was in is part of the original motel, the decor shows it and I enjoyed it, very clean and well cared for. There is no breakfast offered or room for truck and trailer. Would stay again.

I've stayed at Tupper Lake Motel at least 4 times in the past 3 years or so. It is the ideal place for me to stay when on my trips up to the Adirondacks. The owners are wonderful people and do a great job of taking care of everything during my stay. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location is also excellent. Tupper Lake Motel has become a huge part of my twice a year trips from Marlyand to Tupper lake to go fishing. And I honestly enjoy relaxing at the Motel after a long day out on the water and traveling around the area.

We just had a lovely stay at this small family-run motel and couldn't be happier. The people who run it are incredibly nice and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean and in good shape, which is always a top priority for us. It's a true gem in this small town, and we'll definitely be back the next time we're in the area.

I was so glad I chose this motel as my “home base” for exploring the area. It is both comfortable and affordable. Individual temperature controls were appreciated, water pressure was excellent. I found the bed to be comfortable and extra pillows were provided which contributed to my relaxation. The owners were helpful, starting with making my reservation, assisting with check-in as well as answering questions during my stay. This is my “go-to” place to stay when I am visiting Tupper Lake.
