Faust Motel

My husband and I stayed in Cabin 4 at the Faust Motel on 9/27/25 during peak leaf season and had a wonderful experience. We were very pleased with the price, the room, and the service. The half-cabin was beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated. We were especially happy to find everything spotless, with comfortable mattresses, soft pillows, and quality linens. The electric heat and A/C made it easy to adjust the temperature to our liking. The bathroom was on the smaller side, but very clean and nicely finished—perfectly adequate for the two of us. The main office added to the charm with its cozy library, helpful local information, inviting décor, and a great selection of healthy, reasonably priced snacks. Stayed here for a couple nights, while passing through on our motorcycle’s. It was a most pleasant stay. The cabins are clean and completely renovated. Very comfortable beds. We enjoyed having a nice campfire on both nights. Rachet River Brewery is just next door, with a good selection of brew and food. There is also a very good family restaurant a block up the road. We recently cycled the Adirondack Rail Trail from Lake Placid to Tupper Lake. Wanting to stay overnight and return to Lake Placid the following day, we made a one night reservation at the Faust Motel. Communication by hotel manager via email was excellent and provided all the information you needed prior to arriving. The motel is a short easy ride from the trail terminus. Our room was fairly priced and very clean. Everyone we interfaced with was friendly and helpful with the few questions we had. They have an additional building that serves as a lounge area on one end and is a fully functioning kitchen on the other. Coffee, fresh squeezed juice, yogurt and pastries were available in the morning. We found out that from July to mid-October they offer a take-out dinner Monday-Friday, but did

The perfect location for your stay in Tupper Lake. Clean and cozy cabins and a convenient place to park. You can now also find excellent home cooking at the on premises kitchen. Order ahead or you might miss out... the food is really good. Just a heads-up, wonderful cooked dinners will only be available until the end of October. After that, you will need to wait until next year... get those delicious meals while you still have the opportunity 😋

We always try to stay at the Faust when we visit Tupper lake, the rooms are clean and cozy, the coffee house at the Faust is quaint and cute!! The inn keeper is the most lovely person you’ll ever meet. Our experience has always been amazing!!
