Pine Terrace Motel & Resort

I stayed at the Pine Terrace the night before the Lake Placid Half Marathon. The family that owns the motel is wonderful and accommodates to all your needs. The cabin was large and rustic with three beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom! I was able to get a great nights rest in the beautiful town before my race, the beds were very comfortable and the there was a small river outside my window that had a lovely calming sound! If you’re looking for a place to stay for Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, or the high peaks the location is also ideal! Highly recommend!!

I can't praise enough our stay in the Pine Terrace resort! Cozy cabin with rustic decor and fireplace! Warm, clean, with fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful views of the Tupper Lake and Adirondacks. Perfect place for hiking, water activities, visits to Saranac Lake and Lake Placid or even one day trip to Montreal... We stayed there for few days in early October. It was so peaceful and beautiful! The owners Aldona and John are excellent hosts, very welcoming, funny and generous. We highly recommend this place if you want to experience the beauty of Adirondacks all year round. Aldona and John! Great location for a paddling/hiking base camp. Owners are wonderful /friendly and work hard to meet your requests. Lake front access and a pool. State boat ramp is nearby. We stay there every year when paddling in that area. There are also 3 nice hikes in Tupper Lake that are nearby.

Pine Terrace Motel and Resort are owned by a couple John and Aldona. They made sure that my employee and I were taken care of, our rooms were clean and that we enjoyed our stay. We stayed in 2 of their many cabins overlooking the lake. What I liked best about the place was they had a fridge, stove and dishes so I didn't have to run out looking for a bite. This also beats the costly overpriced booking with airbnb, which I also priced before staying at the Pine Terrace Motel.|The location of the hotel overlooks Tupper Lake. You can sit on their sprawling lawn to watch the sun come up or down. The view is very scenic and peaceful. Great place to stay! Definitely recommend Pine Terrace Motel for anyone looking to have a nice, clean, and relaxing stay in the Tupper Lake Area. The owners are lovely and super helpful people, that provide great service. The cabins are very clean and cozy, with full kitchens. The property has lots of great places for the whole family to hangout, play games, or setup a campfire. The lake is right across the street, with private access where you can keep your own kayaks/ boats, or you can rent great ones from the owners. If you don’t want to swim in the lake, you can swim in the pool instead. We’ve been coming for years in groups of 10/20/30 people and will continue to do so for the foreseeable future, as we love Tupper Lake and Pine Terrace Motel.
