Little Wolf Beach and Campground

We stayed for a week at this campground right at the end of the season. It is not overly large, with over half of RV slots without tree cover, ut all looking at the lake. Sites are fairly close together, but really easy access for parking your trailer. There is a row of pines right by the shore, where we were, with a terrific lake view. Paul, the custodian, was friendly and terrifically helpful. Restroom was basic, but adequate. Didn't use their shower. Lots of lakes nearby for viewing loons nd hiking, great fall foliage, and nearby towns of Tupper Lake and Saranac Lake for restaurants, food stores, gasoline, propane, and canoe or kayak rentals. The campground comes with septic hookup, which was convenient, but our's required a second 10-foot hose--lucky we had it!--and ran upslope a bit.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The manager was very accommodating and friendly, he even helped us blow up our air mattress after forgetting our pump. The views and sunsets from the campground were immaculate. If you are a beach person with a tent I recommend sites 48-50 :) Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This is a Hidden Gem in Tupper lake. We were there the day before they really opened everything up but it was a great little find. The guy who runs the place goes out of his way to make your stay great. The bathrooms are clean. The view of the pond is amazing. If you're looking for a place, give this one a try. Especially if you're in town for hiking or Mountain climbing. Will probably go back to check it out in season.

Campground that operates on the KISS approach. No big expensive frills, just a nice, small campground right on the shores of Little Wolf Pond. Tucked away just enough from Tupper Lake and the train depot that you can walk to the store, diner and other spots if you need anything. Good pricing on spots and the folks there are friendly and helpful!
