This camp site is conveniently located to serve as a base for anyone who plans to spend a few days in the Mammoth Lakes area. Many lakes are just a short drive away. The camp is quiet and clean. There is a stream/river that runs through the camp, which makes it relaxing. The geology and environment are really unique too. In the summer it can be hot, but the nights are cool. Connection to phones is good. There are only vault toilets. There are no rv hookups. Some sites are maybe close to each other while others aren't. The host is knowledgeable and professional. They regularly drive around the camp. They sell wood in case you want to make a campfire.

Tuff Campground is a nice campground with very clean pit restrooms and no hookups. Bob the park host is awesome. He does a great job at keeping up the campground and checking in with folks.||We tent camped in space #28 and friends had a trailer in #29. We initially had space #30 reserved but it is a very small site, with no ramada and our tent was too big to fit. Bob came to our rescue and let us move to site 28 that was open and fit our needs perfectly.|The site is really close to the highway. It took me some time to get used to the highway noise so close to the tent. But after the first evening I didn't pay much attention.|Fishing in Rock Creek was fun. We had good luck every day. So a Trout dinner was had by all. They were biting on rainbow power bait when we were there. The t

We have been coming here for years. This year we got the pleasure of meeting Dave the Grounds keeper, he was a very good host even brought goody bags with information on the pine trees and other little facts ! Everything was very clean. I would recommend this camp site!

Our favorite place to camp. Camping right by the creek away from busy roads. Just love this campground so much. We bring our 30ft trailer don’t have any issues.

Some campsites are very close to the creek which is great for kids playing or for fishing! There are only two pit toilets- no showers, sinks or potable water. Pit toilets were very clean- they didn’t smell at all. The campsite is close-ish to many of the lakes in the Mammoth Lakes region. It’s a dog friendly campsite as well! Not much shade although some campsites had partial shade coverage over the picnic tables. You can buy fire wood for $10. You can hear cars go by on the 395 so if you’re looking for total peace and quiet, please keep that in mind.
