Hub and I spent 4 nights here, last week. We were happy to get a great spot without a reservation for all the nights needed. The young man at the office couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. You can purchase firewood at the office. The restrooms and shower house were always exceptionally clean. The showers are included with your stay so no quarters! It was peaceful and nice, no one bothering you. Quiet time is at 10 and everyone adhered to that. It is right next to town, which was convenient and only a couple miles to the lakes and activities. Very clean campground and pleasant experience, not to mention beautiful surroundings.
The camp ground is tucked in the woods off Lake Mary Rd with easy access to anything in town. It's well maintained with clean bathroom and hot shower. The campers are nice and quiet. They just cut a lot of dead trees down so we got plenty of free firewood. We had a car for transportaion. But it's connected to Juniper Springs Resort and you can take trolly from there if you don't have a car. Overall, great experience.
Wow. This place is so beautiful and well kept. The bathrooms are clean the staff is friendly. We stayed 3 nights and went all over. I will definitely be back. Thanks for the beautiful campground.
We stayed 3 nights here with a few other couples, kiddos & pets. There are several clean bathrooms throughout the property & also free, hot showers. Close distance to town. It is a bit challenging to make a reservation since you have to call the mammoth hotline. It was quiet & all other campers were respectful. A lot of kids & a lot of pets. Great first time here!
Avoid this place! They do construction on holiday weekends when guests are still sleeping. They were wearing gas masks spraying paint and chemicals on the buildings while we were unprotected. The wind was strong and blew the paint and chemicals right at us. I have bad allergies and it caused me to have an asthma attack. Totally uncalled for. They have no respect for guests and didn’t stop. You wouldn’t go in someone’s hotel room protected with a gas mask and start spraying the walls with paint while they were sleeping and leave them unprotected would you? We went to the woods to get away from chemicals and get fresh air and Mammouth delivered the biggest nightmare. Avoid! They don’t care about guests.
